Sunday: Week 2, Day 1

I recently reinstalled the NRAAS Story Progression mod because I like knowing what's going on in my neighbourhood. It also helps non-active Sims through life so much better than EA's Story Progression. So if I mention anything outside of the Nesbitts, that's how I know what's going on. On with the story!

Even in her sleep, she's thinking about those gems. Dang, girl. Chill. We've got like almost 5,000 in the bank already, and that's without Floyd's fruits, veggies, and fish.

The Sunday sun is now rising, but Floyd is STILL fishing. I believe he just caught his first Excellent Minnow, too.

Here's a sunrise picture of Stoney Falls since you can't really see it from where Floyd is.

I take back what I said about wanting them at Stoney Falls: I like their house right where it is.

It's day 1 of week 2 and both of them are already wishing for kids. I mean, Elvira's only to level 3 of the Medical career and Floyd hasn't even caught a perfect fish yet. But hey, I'm all for very very wishful thinking. Yeah! Go Nesbitts! You're halfway there! Kinda! I guess!

Despite wanting kids, this is about as close as these two get to interacting. Probably because I micromanage Floyd. A lot. Elvira usually does her own thing since I'm not sure what to do with her, but I've constantly got Floyd working. Poor Floyd.

Oh. I didn't notice the only reason Elvira stopped working yesterday was because she broke the computer. Oops. #ProSimsPlayer

She's the first to notice the new crib and this is how she reacts. Not sure if that's good or bad. She is over-emotional.

Well if they want kids, they need to get going with their skills. Which means it'stime for me to crack the whip when it comes to Elvira. Off to the beach to boost your Logic!
Elvira: But...TV...
No! You are a workaholic! Pull! Yourself! Together!

Meanwhile, Floyd's at home sleeping the day away yet again. Oh look, he's dreaming about all the skill points he's not earning right now!
Yeah, I micromanage far too much.

Elvira is playing chess with herself and just got to Logic level 2, but I think she's just now realizing she has to earn 3 more skill levels to be on par with her career level.

Uh-oh. She just lost to herself.

Aw. My favourite couple got together! (I once had a game with these two, waaaay back when I first got the game. It all ended when my computer decided to eat that game after their oldest son married and had a kid with Bella Bachelor. That's when I found out you don't **** with the Goths.Ever since that game, any time I've had a sim get with Mortimer or Bella or tried to play either the Bachelors or Goths, my computer eats the game.)
Maybe the fact that she and Holden are together now will keep Gwen off Floyd's back?

Lemme guess. You just lost again?
Elvira: Why's she so good?
Maybe because she is you?

She puts her game face on and beats herself next time.
Elvira: SUCK IT, Elvira!

Back at home, Floyd is still sleeping the day away.

Although the second Elvira hits level 3 of Logic, he shoots up out of the bed like he knows.
Floyd (zombie-like): Must...gain...skill...
I've influenced him far too much.

He heads downstairs and, of course, chooses to grab a bowl of the mac'n'cheese they've left lying out for almost two days.
I also find it funny that both Elvira and Floyd are Slobs, but they still make that "Eugh!" face when chowing on nasty meals. I'll try to get a picture someday if I haven't already.

After reaching level 3, Elvira wishes to buy a Logic book. Alrighty then. Off to the bookstore! She soon gets a reading buddy in the form of Theodore Lum. I forget what he's reading. Something obscure like Llama Rights.

Just after midnight, Floyd heads to Plumpuddle Park to fish. Will he finally catch his first perfect fish this morning?

Is this it?! Is that the one?!

Decidedly not, based on that face.

Back at home, Elvira finally goes to bed. At what time, you ask? Almost 4. These poor sims and their wacky sleep schedules. She's gonna have a fun time getting up for work in 3 hours. Looks like she's also having a nightmare about cleaning.
