An Introduction
Hello! I'm Andy Nícole back with another Sims 3 blog. This time, I'm going to try my hand at a legacy rather than carefree play. That being said, the official legacy rules are a bit too rigid for me and I've tailored them because I'm a cheater like that.
The rules I will be following, however, are:
Introducing Elvira & Floyd Nesbitt.
Elvira works so hard she barely has time to clean up after herself, much less a compulsion to. And if you take her to an art gallery she might just burst into tears and break something, accidentally of course. Her one dream in life is to be so fantastic of a surgeon that she's world-renowned.
Floyd has big dreams in life, if he could get himself moving. His laziness often causes him to make big messes with no intention of cleaning them, like his wife. But maybe if you're going on a fishing trip or weeding the yard he'll kick himself into gear. He's determined to catch every fish there is so he can display them in the house and charge admission.
Their house is called Mediterranean Villa, I believe, and comes from the Bin. As does most of their neighbourhood. "What?" you ask.
These are all the households in my new and improved Sunset Valley. Just this one neighbourhood next to Pinochle Pond. All the houses are from the Bin and are home to the families from the Bin. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, looky here!
And here!
Elvira: Eh, this ain't too bad. I could get used to this view.
Floyd: *stares sagely into distance*
Oh, I did mention you have 0 simoleans in your account, right?
Elvira's trying to retreat from reality, but Floyd has already accepted it.
Floyd: *turns head slowly* We're screwed.
The rules I will be following, however, are:
- The Heir and Spares rule
- The rule that states you can't have the next generation/pass the Heir torch until the parents' Lifetime Wishes are completed (though that might be from another challenge)
- I will attempt to ban my use of cheats unless it's for emergencies. I don't use them very often anyway in challenge games so we should be fine.
- You'll find out other rules as we go along, so that I don't spoil anything.
- My Founder is actually two Founders: a married couple.
- They already live in a house.
- And their neighbourhood is tailor-made myself.
- I'm also horrible at keeping track of points/micromanaging in general so that rule's out the window.
